Trophy Texas Whitetail and Axis deer hunting has no better destination than
Doc's Indian Ridge Guest Hunting Ranch.
Hunters and family members will have the opportunity to bring their own food stuff for the duration of their hunt or we will be happy to furnish all meals during your stay with us at a fee of $80.00 per person per day. The camp is equipped with a microwave oven, stove, walk-in cooler and refrigerator.
At Indian Ridge Guest Hunting Ranch, we currently offer Texas
Trophy Whitetail Deer hunting, Trophy Axis Deer hunting trips and adventures for
exotic wild game, Trophy Texas Aoudad sheep hunt and Trophy Texas Barbados sheep hunts. We also offer Trophy Texas
Fallow deer hunting which can be done in conjunction with our Texas trophy exotic hunts
and during Texas whitetail deer season.
Indian Ridge Ranch is located in ruggedly gorgeous Val Verde County, Texas just north of Del Rio, Texas and only about thirty minutes drive from Lake Amistad. The ranch landscape consists of numerous dry creek beds, small rocky canyons, live oak and mesquite flats and
hills (small mountains) galore. The terrain is very striking in appearance and extremely fun to
hunt ... or just look at for that matter. |

We at Indian Ridge Ranch Guest Ranch are very family oriented and encourage families to come hunt with us at our Texas ranch where our specialty is Trophy Texas Axis deer hunting. Unlike other Texas exotic game ranches, we offer low pressure, family oriented hunts where hunters and family members are completely at ease in their surroundings and able to hunt at their own pace and in any manner in which they feel comfortable. Texas Axis hunting at Indian Ridge Ranch is done from our small lodge that will accommodate six people comfortably.

The state of Texas is now home to more Aoudad or Barbary sheep than their native land of North Africa. Aoudad Sheep hunting in Texas has continued to grow in popularity since they were first released in the Panhandle region of Texas in the 1950's.r.

 Trophy Barbado Sheep The Barbado Sheep is a very unique breed of sheep that was developed in the Caribbean, although there is evidence that the breed originated in Africa. Barbado sheep hunting in Texas has been taking place for many years.

Doc,s Indian Ridge Guest Hunting Ranch. Rio Grande Turkey Hunts are $300 per gobbler. Whitetail doe or Exotic doe $400.00 each.
Deposit of $250.00 for first day and each additional day of hunting there will be a charge of $100.00 per day due prior to each days exotic hunt, deer hunt, turkey hunt, ram hunt and or hog hunts. Deposit of $100 per day is required from all hunters and non hunters when booked with a two day minimum with no exceptions. Example:
One Hunter books a minimum two day hunt, deposit is $350.00 non refundable.
This and when you arrive if not paid in advance
all hunters must show there proof of payment
before they hunt. Thus gives the hunter the
rites to hunt IRGHRanch and harvest a variety of
species Whitetail deer, Axis Deer, Fallow Deer,
Aoudad Sheep and Black Belly Barbado. All harvest fees must be paid in full before returning to the hunt or departing the ranch
if not already paid in advance. Extra turkeys will be $250.00 per bird for hunters or their Guest, also hunters may add Trophy Bucks to any package for them or their Guest! (see chart bellow)
Trophy fees / harvest fees apply to all wounded animals that are not recovered, you draw blood it is the same as harvest!
